India logs 2,876 new COVID-19 cases, 98 fatalitiesNew Delhi: India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 180.60 (1,80,60,93,107) crore. This has been achieved through 2,11,93,183 sessions.

COVID-19 vaccination of children between 12-14 years will begin from today and only Corbevax vaccine would be used for the beneficiaries of age group 12-13 and 13-14 years.

3,884 patients recovered from the infection in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients is now at 4,24,50,055. Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.72 per cent.

2,876 new cases, 98 fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours. The nations’ active caseload currently stands at 32,811. Active cases constitute 0.08 per cent of the country’s total positive cases.

The last 24 hours saw a total of 7,52,818 COVID-19 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 78.05 (78,05,06,974)crore cumulative tests. The weekly positivity rate in the country currently stands at 0.44 per cent and the daily positivity rate is reported to be 0.38 per cent.
